# Traceability requirements

### **1. Required Information**

For each product, Sellers must keep and provide, if requested:

* **Batch numbers**
* **Production dates**
* Any other relevant manufacturing or lot information

### **2. Documentation Retention**

* Sellers are required to **store all traceability information for at least ten (10) years**.
* Documentation should be clear, accurate, and readily available for inspection or in case of a dispute.

### **3. Responsibility**

* Sellers are considered the **“economic operator”** responsible for compliance with EEA regulations regarding traceability.
* Accurate records ensure that any issues with product quality, safety, or deviations can be addressed efficiently.

### **4. Sharing Information with Parallel**

* Parallel may request documentation to verify Listings, handle disputes, or ensure regulatory compliance.
* Sellers must provide requested information promptly to avoid delays or penalties.

### **Tips for Sellers**

* Keep digital and/or physical copies of all production and batch records.
* Ensure that documentation is easy to match with Listings on the platform.
* Regularly update records for new batches or product lines.
