# Seller warranties

### **1. Accuracy of Listing Information**

* All details in your Listing must be **accurate, complete, and not misleading**.
* This includes product descriptions, barcodes, prices, BBDs, units per carton, and cartons per pallet.

### **2. Product Quality and Compliance**

* Goods must be of **merchantable quality**, fit for their intended purpose, and free from defects in material or workmanship.
* Sellers warrant that all Goods comply with **applicable EEA laws, regulations, and standards**, including food safety, labeling, packaging, and traceability.

### **3. Intellectual Property and Parallel Import**

* Sellers must ensure that listing or selling goods does **not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights** (trademarks, patents, copyrights, or trade secrets).
* Goods must be **lawfully placed on the EEA market** by the IP rights holder or with their consent, in line with the principle of exhaustion of rights.

### **4. Product Liability Insurance**

* Sellers must maintain **product liability insurance** with a minimum coverage of **€1,000,000 per claim**.
* Proof of valid insurance must be provided to Parallel upon request.

### **5. Indemnification**

* Sellers agree to indemnify Parallel for **any claims, fines, or legal costs** arising from product liability issues, regulatory enforcement, recalls, or intellectual property disputes.

### **Tips for Sellers**

* Keep all product documentation up-to-date (batch numbers, production data, compliance certificates).
* Ensure insurance coverage is valid before listing goods.
* Double-check that products do not violate IP rights or distribution restrictions.
