# Rules for prohibited goods

### **Prohibited Goods Include**

* Products subject to **excise duties**, such as:
  * Tobacco
  * Alcoholic beverages
* Goods subject to **deposit schemes**
* Any other products deemed **restricted or unsuitable** by Parallel, including items with complex taxes or special legal restrictions.

### **Tips for Sellers**

* Always verify that your products are **freely tradeable within the EEA**.
* Do not include products with excise duties, deposits, or other legal restrictions in your Listing.
* Contact Parallel if you are unsure whether a product is allowed.

### **Consequences of Listing Prohibited Goods**

* Parallel may **reject or remove Listings** without providing a reason.
* Non-compliant goods may lead to **delays, penalties, or additional costs** for the Seller.
