# Inspection process

### **Step 1: Inspection Timing**

* Inspection occurs **within 72 hours** of delivery to the Inspection Warehouse.

### **Step 2: What is Checked**

Parallel or the inspection partner will visually verify:

* **Barcodes** match the Listing
* **Quantities** (units, cartons, pallets) match the Order
* **BBD minimums or Fresh Goods compliance**
* **Packaging and general condition** of the goods

### **Step 3: Intake Report**

* After inspection, Parallel generates an **Intake Report**, which includes:
  * Photographic evidence of the goods
  * Verified quantities and BBD information
  * Any deviations from the Listing

### **Step 4: Handling Deviations**

* Deviations may include shortages, incorrect barcodes, damaged goods, or insufficient shelf life.
* Parallel informs the Buyer of any deviations.
* The Buyer may:
  1. Accept the goods at a discounted price (negotiated via Parallel)
  2. Refuse part or all of the delivery and receive a refund
* Sellers are responsible for retrieving rejected goods within **five business days.**

### **Tips for Sellers**

* Ensure all goods are correctly packed and labelled, including **Order references**.
* Check that quantities and BBDs match the Listing to avoid rejection.
* Be ready to resolve deviations promptly with Parallel and the Buyer.
